Your date of birth, your time of birth and the city where you were born. The more exact the time, the more accurate the lines.

Tick "I don't know my birth time" and we'll use 12:00. The map will be approximate: every hour of difference shifts the lines by about 15°, more than 1,000 km. Before deciding on a move, it's worth finding your exact time.

Astrologers usually see the strongest influence within about 150 km of a line, fading beyond 300–500 km. That's why we show the distance from each city to its nearest line.

AC (rising) relates to how you present yourself, DC (setting) to partners and relationships, MC (overhead) to career and reputation, and IC (underfoot) to home, family and roots.

Venus and Jupiter lines are traditionally seen as the most supportive, and Sun lines help with visibility. But "best" depends on your goal: a Saturn MC line can be excellent for building a serious career.

It can't make the decision for you. It shows which themes come forward in different places, so you can compare your options. Work, family, cost of living and safety matter just as much.

They're related. Astrocartography shows all your lines on one world map. A relocation chart recasts your birth chart for one specific city, which changes your houses and angles there.

Planet positions agree with professional ephemerides to within one arcminute, and your birth time is converted with the historical time-zone rules of your birthplace. The main source of error is an uncertain birth time.
